Experienced instructors in the Pharmacy Technician Certificate program prepare students for employment as pharmacy technicians in community and hospital pharmacies.

Program Spotlight

The Pharmacy Technician Certificate program consists of 41-weeks of theory/lab classes and 360 hours of practicums over a 12-month completion time. The program prepares students for employment as pharmacy technicians with the necessary technical and clerical skills required in community and hospital pharmacies.

Courses

Courses for the Pharmacy Technician program cover a range of topics, like pharmacy equipment, prescription processing, record keeping, pharmaceutical products, compounding, sterile product handling and more.
